Fall 2010 LIVING FRAGRANCE newsletter

Something made me think about hiking as I wrote the newsletter. During my years in California, I loved getting away to the mountains, especially in the fall. I’m in the Midwest now, so heading up to the mountains on a Sunday after church is out of the question. Instead, I enjoy walking through a stand of timber when the trees are at the height of their fall color and the sun is shining through them. I love the way it colors my world…

Flowers flow in rivers around my home. Splashes of bright purple, red, yellow and orange give way to soft, glimmering pools of peach, lavender, coral and white–all spilling out across the yard, down to its farthest reaches.
